“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” ROMANS 5:1
What is greater than God, worse than the devil, rich people need it, poor people have it, if you eat it you’ll die, and it’s the same thing you gave to that sinner that you know?
Greetings in JESUS,
If this Gospel is truly “good news”, why don’t we tell the world? When I first learned to share my faith, I couldn’t seem to turn it off. I couldn’t stop. I told teammates at school, I told classmates on the bus, I told teachers and coaches. Everybody needed to know!
My first witnessing experience led to the conversion of a Black Panther. The second a football player and numerous others came to JESUS within a few months. Before a year was up, we’d begun a Bible Study at school. It grew as they also seemed to be infected with this zeal for witnessing the simple salvation which comes through JESUS.
I’ve seen fruit here at Loveland. There are some among us who can’t seem to hold back from “telling the story of JESUS”. None any greater than the group of believers who gather every Saturday at 8:00 am to go out witnessing, feeding and fixing and helping as a part of “Adopt-A-Block “.
Each week our witness touches lives where they need it most (the heart) by addressing needs where they feel it the most (the belly).
You probably haven’t joined us on our Saturday escapades …but, you can be a “Witness for Jesus” in a similar way. The result in the life of someone God cares about will be just as ‘ETERNAL’. Invite someone you know or run across in your life experience to church! That’s so simple and pleasant.
It requires no training, no degrees or certificates just an open mouth and a willing heart. Invite at least two people to church this Easter (April 5th). Service times will be the same as usual…. And, on that question that I asked you …. (What is greater than God, worse than the devil, rich people need it, poor people have it, if you eat it you’ll die, and it’s the same thing you gave that sinner you know?”) The answer is …”Nothing”.
Let’s change that whole thing ….this week! Give that sinner an Invitation to what may be a life-changing experience on Resurrection Day (Easter Sunday) at LOVELAND…
Joyfully In Jesus,
Chuck Singleton, Sr. Pastor
